This holiday season has been such a whirlwind and for those of you that have been putting off your New Year’s celebrations, it’s not too late to host one. We’ve got everything you need to put together a last-minute New Year’s Eve party that will make your guests feel like you have been planning it all year-long.
Our number one tip for hosting a last-minute party, especially for New Year’s Eve, is to have a later start time. We suggest 9pm to allow for your sanity you to either pick up, or throw together a few items, get ready, and pick up any clutter around your house and throw into a closet or any hidden space. Next up the goods!
Cocktails
Oh how we L’s cherish a little bubbly, and this is an impeccable time to savor it.
This French 75 cocktail from foodiecrush is a remarkably, festive cocktail that will compliment your countdown this year. Both beautiful to look at and exceptionally easy to mix up, sounds like the perfect concoction to us.
Just say the word Elderflower and Events by L is in! Now, pair it with sparkly cranberry skewers, and champagne, and we are not only in, but all over it.
Aren’t these cranberry-elderflower champagne sparklers from 40 Aprons gorgeous? We sure think so, and will be salivating in them tomorrow!
Food
Parties are all about the finger foods. They are a prime option since people can mingle and munch comfortably. Here’s some bite-sized deliciousness that you can throw together in a flash.
We are in love with these little Parmesan Tortellini Bites from Damn Delicious that we think you are going to love. They are painless to make and hold up well to room temperature. You won’t have to worry about them losing their awesomeness throughout the evening.

Tablescape and Décor
This tablescape from Remodelando la Casa is the perfect example of utilizing items you already have on hand from your Christmas décor. It looks like a million bucks, but can be done in just minutes. Fill up vases, hurricanes, and any glass containers you have around with all silver, gold, or if you want to be adventurous mix the two. So festive!
