We have recently had the pleasure of attending an event at the charming and gorgeous grounds of St. Andrews Golf and Country Club in West Chicago, Illinois. We had an amazing experience there with some of our friendors Photo Booth of the Stars and JFKPhoto, and are excited to share St. Andrew’s with you in our Venue Spotlight Edition!
Not only is the staff at St. Andrews amazing and a pleasure to work with, the venue also offers a breathtaking lakeside ceremony location where you will be surrounded by flowers, trees, and the beauty of nature.
They offer several different reception sites that are more than accommodating for a variety of guest counts. The St. Andrews Room which is where our event took place is the largest of their 3 rooms and will accommodate up to 275 guests. The room presents a picturesque view of the signature St. Andrews course, as well as gorgeous cathedral ceilings and magnificent chandelier lighting. One of the best features of this room as wedding planners is soft neutral undertones that allow endless possibilities for your design and décor.
From the minute you enter the Trophy Room you will get a sense of comfort from the rustic wood throughout. This room embraces all of the elements of a warm, intimate, rustic wedding. Your guests of 50 to 100 will enjoy the fireplace while overlooking the 32 acre wooded golf practice center.
Even more intimate is the 19th Hole which is available for private events for up to 45 guests. The 19th hole also features a cozy fireplace, rich wood-paneled walls, bub bar, and large windows. It would make the ideal location for a small reception, rehearsal dinner, or the perfect bridal or baby shower.
The catering department and chef at St. Andrews provide an amazing menu to select from the pretzel crusted chicken Dijon, (which was amazing,) to the grilled vegetable polenta, (which was also amazing!) you can be sure you and your guests will be leaving happy and well fed.
