Laurie Fulton and Lisa Fulton, Owners of Events by L, are sisters and business partners. This planning duo presents a fabulous team effort on every occasion. We caught up with them a while ago to chat about their philosophies on wedding planning and a few tips for how newly engaged couples can start the planning process!

CSW: So, you two are sisters! How did you end up going into business together?
L&L: We have always loved throwing parties and have experience in everything from corporate events to helping plan weddings for our friends. We were encouraged by our friends and family to start a business to be able to provide guidance to those in need of professional event planning. We are truly lucky to be able to do what we love!

CSW: What is your philosophy when it comes to wedding planning?

L&L: Our philosophy is simple – We are professional, but not stuffy. Our clients have expressed their surprise at how easy going we are. We are not the stereotypical ‘stuffy, rigid event planners’. We love what we do and it shows in our interactions with our clients and vendors.…..read more…
