Fall is our favorite time of year for décor, so today we thought we would share with you some our top picks for fall baby shower themes and ideas.  We truly can’t get enough of it!

When throwing a baby shower there is no rule that states your theme needs to be pink for a girl or blue if it’s a boy and you certainly do not have to use a seasonal theme either.  As for any event you can get as unique as you like so just have fun with it.

A “Fall in Love With” shower theme is an obvious choice and one that you can really customize your personality and situation.  We really enjoy the fall palette shown in all of the inspirational images.

Owls are everywhere this time of year!  Why not incorporate them in your baby shower.  They are a hoot!

This is another really cute theme for the mommy to be.  Make your guests these adorable bird seed favors to take home.  You could even make little spaghetti nests and have little meatballs for eggs.  So great!

Selecting wedding favors to thank your guest for celebrating in the joining of you and your significant other should be nothing to sweat!  Don’t waste hard earned money on favors that will be left behind, give your guests something they will actually want to take home with them!

While you may think your guests are going to be excited to take home a coaster of the two of you posing in a sappy position, you’re wrong!  Don’t chose something so personalized that only you would appreciate it.  Think of your guests.  You spend all of these hours and dollars planning this joyous occasion; don’t let your favors come across as an after thought.

These neatly wrapped organic soaps are great for any event!  Look at how often people steal the fancy hotel soaps out of the bathroom.  You know you do!  Clearly it is a luxury item.

You can’t go wrong with food especially a sweet treat.  Give your attendants something to look forward to rather than a key chain with YOUR monogram on it.

Here’s another great idea.  Send them off with a great pair of tools that are actually functional.  You can get as personal as you want on the holders.

Go green!  Share some seeds and do Mother Nature a solid!

There is certainly a plethora of choices for your favors and with our experience we have seen them all!  By far it seems that the crowd pleasers are the edible ones.  The rest get forgotten or thrown away.  If you are on a tight budget spare your wallet and skip the Mr. and Mrs. Tackywedding favor and instead give an edible treat for guests to take away or just skip the favors all together.  No favor is better than a cheap favor that no one will appreciate.

We’re Falling For Plaid
